This website is run by Dariusz Karpowicz as part of Albion Financial Advice, a trading style of Albion Financial Advice Services Ltd (the data controller), authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 769375), registered in England No. 10460659, registered office: Armstrong House, First Avenue, Finningley, Doncaster, DN9 3GA. We comply with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect

Details you send us through the contact form (name, email, message), bookings made through the embedded scheduling calendar, purchases in our shop (order and billing details – card payments are handled by an external payment provider and we never see your full card details), and standard website-usage data (IP address, pages visited).

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site requires them. Analytics cookies run only after you click Accept in the cookie bar at the bottom of the page – clicking Reject means they are not set. You can change your mind at any time by deleting this site’s cookies in your browser (the bar will appear again). The booking calendar on our consultation page is loaded only when you choose to open it, as its provider may set its own cookies.

How we use your information

Enquiry details are used to respond to you and – if you decide to work with us – to provide regulated mortgage and protection advice (at that point Albion Financial Advice’s client privacy policy also applies). Purchase data is used to fulfil your order and meet accounting obligations. We may use limited automated scoring to prioritise enquiries; a qualified adviser always reviews your details, and no decision with a legal or similarly significant effect is ever made solely by automated means.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data and never share it with third parties for their own marketing. When arranging products, relevant details go to the lenders/insurers involved. Day to day we use trusted software providers who process data solely on our instructions: customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email delivery platforms, website analytics, an online payment provider, a scheduling service, AI-based translation tools and messaging services used for notifications. Data is stored primarily in the UK and EEA; some providers may process data outside the UK (for example in the USA), in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

No longer than necessary. Files for arranged financial products are kept for a minimum of six years in line with FCA requirements; sales records as required by tax law; enquiries that do not lead to business for no more than 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to: be informed; access your data (we respond within one month); rectification; erasure where there is no compelling reason for continued processing; restriction; objection; and rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time – email info@albionfa.co.uk or call 01302 590039.

Complaints

If you believe your data is being handled improperly you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), tel. 0303 123 1113, ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
